OMG Guys we visited Colombia for the first time this year and WOW we loved it!

For those of you that have been following us for a while, you know that Javi and I have a huge Traveling List of places we want to explore.

Colombia has been one of those places that we’ve been curious about visiting but it’s never been an active plan of ours. We have heard lots of things about, from it being super beautiful to it being dangerous as well so we hadn’t really looked into but in August we got one of those opportunities that I like to call “The Herbalife Magic” lol.

An incredible training we attended the year before in the Latin American Market in Panama opened up a whole new world for us. We had been doing Herbalife for about 3 years always attending events and building relationships in the English American Market. We had never really tapped into the other countries where there are also VERY successful Herbalife Distributors until 2017 in Panama. This event was a game changer for us. It allowed us to see how all of us Herbalife Distributors in different countries are so connected yet we also have it sooo much easier here in the U.S.

Being in these Latin American countries there are more issues they have to push through unlike us in the United States. It was so much fun as well and the Latin Market opened our eyes as to how much fun building this business is. Very successful Distributors who have been doing Herbalife for over 10-20 years really puts into perspective what our future looks like too. It was just so amazing so this year this event was in Bogota, Colombia.

Sooo we jumped on an Avianca plane, first class and that experience was heaven. What an amazing start! When we have Herbalife events that are in places we’ve never visited before, we like to fly over a day or two earlier so we have enough time to be tourists. We kill two birds with one stone this way.

Our adventure began the next morning with a workout and meeting up with our friends. Most people don’t understand why we love what we do so much and the friendships we get to make while doing this business is what I love the most. We travel the world together, learn together, cry together, laugh together and grow together and I feel this is truly the glue to being successful in this business. Being friendly and surrounding yourself with those people you just click with. We have a lot of those “people” in this business and its so much fun to make memories together.

So our exploring began. We were given advice to not hold our iphones out recording and to just be aware of our surroundings. That week Colombia was getting a new President and we were in the capital of the country so military was out in full force. It was a little scary sometimes but we were in a big group and I felt super safe and mostly amazed at the beauty. Colombia is gorgeous. The weather in August was also pretty cold. The people were very nice and the food was soooo good haha! We went up a mountain to see the most beautiful views. We walked the streets to take in the culture, the people and the vibes. I just loveee everything about traveling.

The following day we registered for our event and received the coolestttt gifts!! Branded Herbalife Luggage and personalized T-shirts too! Seriously amazing!!! We continued exploring Colombia. We explored salt mines, and ate delicious traditional food. We had such a fun time!! Seriously our fave part about traveling is going ALL out as tourists haha.

The event was sooo worth the trip and here we also shared a little bit about our story and in SPANISH for the first time lol! It was scary but exciting and at this event we made awesome connections with legends in the company. A few months later we were even asked to do an online training for their teams, in Spanish I must add, and they helped me more then they know.

Comfort zones are the zones I want to constantly push my way out of. When I’m in one I feel stuck, bored, and anxious and I’ve realized the more I accept opportunities that are scary and the more we travel and accept outings with new people, our vision grows and our lives continue to get better and better.

Hope you enjoyed my little recap into our time in one of the most beautiful countries in South America. Can’t wait to go back and explore more!
